Be Kind! Yoga & Hike weekend retreat
In the mood for a short break? A weekend full of yoga and hiking, surrounded by nature? Then this is your perfect getaway! During this yoga & hike retreat, you’ll discover the beauty of Luxembourg’s natural landscapes. You’ll stay in a cozy group accommodation where we create a warm, homely atmosphere together.
Throughout the weekend, we focus on the importance of kindness — towards yourself and those around you. Relax and be kind! Are you coming with us?
About the accommodation

The group accommodation where you’ll spend the weekend is located in Dirbach, Luxembourg. During your stay, you’ll share the facilities with other retreat participants. The house has two bathrooms (four showers), four toilets, a living room, and a kitchen. Behind the house, there is a large garden where the yoga classes will take place. There is ample parking available.
About the rooms
The house has six bedrooms. Each room offers between two and six sleeping spots, a wardrobe, and a sink. Rooms may be shared with other participants, but if you prefer more privacy, you can book a private room for an additional fee. There is space for eight persons maximum.

About the environment
Dirbach is a peaceful village located in the Diekirch province of Luxembourg. The village lies just within the Éislek nature reserve, a region full of unspoiled nature, scenic viewpoints overlooking stunning valleys, majestic castles, and rich cultural highlights. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking to relax, immerse yourself in nature—whether in a laid-back or active way—and enjoy the charm of small villages and towns.
In short: it is the region to explore during a yoga & hike retreat!
During this retreat, we’ll explore various hiking trails. Some options include:
- ES3 Dirbach (5.5 kilometers) or Éislek Pad Bourscheid (14.8 kilometers)
- BS4 Bourscheid – Moulin (9.1 kilometers) or BS6 Bourscheid (14.5 kilometers)
- Éislek Pad Esch-sur-Sûre (6,5 kilometers)
Which trails we will hike will be decided in consultation with the participants of the yoga & hike retreat.
On the departure day of the retreat, there’s an opportunity to explore another trail of your choice. Feel free to ask for recommendations!
All meals included
All meals are included in the price. However, I kindly ask you to bring your own lunchbox and (large) water bottle.
In the morning, we’ll have breakfast after the first yoga class at our accommodation. We’ll also fill our lunchboxes then; during the hike, we’ll stop along the way to have lunch. In the evening, our chef will be ready to serve us a delicious dinner.
Do you have any preferences or allergies? Let me know. We’ll be happy to accommodate them!
Accessibility
From Luxembourg City, it takes approximately 50 minutes by car to reach Dirbach. From Liège, it’s about 1.5 hours, and from Cologne, it’s around 2.5 hours. The nearest train stations are Goebelsmühle and Kautenbach. Would you like to be picked up from one of these stations, or another station? Let me know, and I’ll check if a pick-up service can be arranged.
Theme and program
It sounds so simple, but it’s not always easy. Especially when it comes to ourselves, we can be quite critical. During previous retreats, the desire to be a little kinder to ourselves – by being less judgmental, setting boundaries, and taking better care of ourselves – kept coming up.
That’s why, during this Yoga & Hike retreat, I’ll be placing extra focus on this theme.

Reviews
“From the moment we entered the house, we were warmly welcomed. The enthusiasm and joyful energy set the tone for the rest of the weekend. I learned so much about yoga, the different forms and techniques. With Lisa’s guidance, I was always able to find the variation that suited me in the moment. The hikes were amazing, and it was always a joy to come home to Paul’s fantastic food.
I could say so much about how much we enjoyed ourselves, how much we learned, how we pushed our limits, laughed, and how much peace and energy I now feel at home. But honestly—you just have to experience it for yourself!` – Bianca
“What a warm and wonderful retreat this was. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere, created not only by the participants but certainly also by Lisa and top chef Paul, made it easy to truly be yourself and allowed everything to simply be. During the yoga sessions and meditations, I learned a lot—both about the different techniques and about myself—and the hikes were absolutely fantastic. For me, it was especially the combination that made it such a success. After a day of hiking in the beautiful surroundings, which often requires some effort, it was pure bliss to unwind during the evening yoga sessions. Preceded by a delicious meal and followed by chatting and drinks—sometimes with tears from emotions, other times from laughter shared together!
With all of these ingredients in my pocket, I returned home full of renewed energy and have found it easier to find peace in my daily life. Highly recommended!” – Marcia
“I had a wonderful weekend with Lisa leading the yoga sessions and hikes. Relaxation—also through exertion—was the main theme of the weekend. On the one hand, we were pampered and cared for with loving attention: a prayer bead necklace, a small journal, delicious meals prepared by chef Paul, and genuine, focused care. On the other hand, we were also challenged with intensive yoga classes and walks.
Lisa is an inspiring young woman with a lot of potential, and she truly shines during a weekend like this. The accommodation is simple, which means there are few distractions and you can fully enjoy the surroundings and the intensity of the yoga practice. As far as I’m concerned, I’ll sign up for the next retreat right away!” – Ella
“A gift to myself – that’s what this yoga and hiking retreat felt like. The program was wonderfully varied: lovely yoga classes (adaptable to your own level), different forms of meditation, beautiful hikes through the Luxembourg mountains, and delicious meals prepared by Paul (with a special mention for the avocado-lime ice cream!).
One of the most special experiences for me was the walking meditation. We walked a path mindfully, focusing our attention on our senses. We even did a small part of the meditation with our eyes closed (luckily, Lisa walked behind us to guide us when needed). Without sight, I felt the ground more clearly beneath my feet and heard the rustling of the trees more intensely. A truly unique experience.
Maybe this all sounds a bit “floaty,” but thankfully the weekend itself was anything but. With her down-to-earth attitude, Lisa paid close attention to what we needed and what we could or didn’t want to do. She adjusted the program accordingly. Very practical and approachable.
All in all, a lovely long weekend that I look back on with great joy. A gift you should absolutely treat yourself to.” – Nicole
